Arrangement not set - why a settlement is paused
When a team member has no commission or rent arrangement yet, their completed bookings pause instead of settling - here's what each side sees.
A settlement can only be worked out once InkMap knows the arrangement between the studio and the practitioner — the commission percentage, or the rent they pay. Until that's set, a completed booking's settlement is paused. This page explains what that looks like.
Why a settlement pauses
When a team member has no arrangement set, InkMap deliberately doesn't guess a split. A completed booking for that member shows an orange Not set badge and a paused headline instead of a hand-over amount. While paused, it claims no money is owed either way and is left out of the owed totals — so a missing arrangement can never quietly turn into the wrong split.
If you're the studio
The paused card carries a Set arrangement button that takes you to Team → Arrangements, where you set the member's commission or rent. As soon as it's set, the booking settles normally and rejoins your totals.
If you're the practitioner
You'll see that your arrangement isn't set yet and a prompt to ask your studio to set it. You can't set it yourself — only the studio can — so reach out to them and the paused bookings will start settling once they do.
Frequently asked questions
- Why isn't my completed booking showing what I'm owed?
Your arrangement with the studio hasn't been set, so the split can't be calculated yet. The studio sets it in Team → Arrangements; after that, the booking settles.
