Booking from a conversation

When you're chatting with a practitioner, you can start a booking right from the conversation — and any bookings you already share show up at the top of the thread.

If the person you're messaging is a practitioner, the conversation is a starting point for a booking. You can send a booking request without leaving the chat, and bookings you already share appear right above your messages.

Step by step

  1. 1

Send a booking request from the chat

Tap + in the message bar and choose Booking Request. This option only appears when the other person is a practitioner who can be booked. The booking screen opens with the usual age and setup checks before you go further.

  2. 2

If the practitioner isn't set up yet

Instead of the booking form, you'll see an interest card. You register your interest, the practitioner finishes their setup, and the request carries on from there.

  3. 3

See shared bookings in the thread

Active bookings between you and this person appear as small chips above your messages. Tap one to jump to that booking's detail page.

Frequently asked questions

I don't see a Booking Request option in the + menu.

It only appears when the other person is a practitioner who can be booked. Booking a practitioner is also available straight from their profile with Book Now.

Can I attach a specific message to a booking?

No. The booking chips above the chat are added automatically and are there for tapping through — there's no way to pin a single message to a booking.
