Guest Spot Reach
The optional paid add-on that promotes a tattoo artist's confirmed guest spots to nearby users, collects client invites by city, and reports how many people each spot reached.
Guest Spot Reach is an optional paid add-on for tattoo artists. You don't need it to request, confirm, or go on a guest spot — but it puts your confirmed spots in front of more people and collects booking interest before you arrive. You subscribe to it from your subscription settings; see Premium for pricing and how to turn modules on.
What it adds
With Guest Spot Reach active, confirming a guest spot does more than show it on your profile. Three things happen — and "users" here means other people (your potential clients), not you:
- Nearby people get alerted. When you confirm a spot, InkMap sends a guest-spot alert to other users whose own news settings cover that area. Each person decides which area they care about themselves: they open the News tab, go to the Guests sub-tab, tap its settings, and set a location and a radius (for example, "within 50 km of London"). When your confirmed spot falls inside someone's chosen area, they get notified. You don't set this for them — they set it for themselves.
- Your subscribers always hear. Anyone who has subscribed to you — the Subscribe button on your profile — is told about your guest spot wherever they are, regardless of distance. Subscribing is how a fan says "tell me when this artist travels," so these alerts ignore the radius entirely.
- You see how far it reached. After a spot is confirmed, the Reach tab on your Guests screen shows the report: how many people were notified in total, a breakdown by city, and a per-spot count. That's where you check the payoff.
The Invites tab
Clients (and other accounts) can invite you to their city using the Invite Here button on your profile. With Guest Spot Reach, those invitations land in the Invites tab of your Guests screen, organised by country and city — so you can see where demand for you is strongest and plan your next stops around it.
The Reach tab
The Reach tab on your Guests screen shows the totals: how many users you've reached in all, a breakdown by city, and a per-spot count of how many people each confirmed stay notified.
Without the add-on
If you don't subscribe, your guest spots still confirm and still show on your profile and the Map. What you don't get is the regional push to nearby users, and the Invites and Reach tabs stay locked — you'll see that invites exist but not their detail.
