Your Credentials & Licenses card
How the Credentials & Licenses card works — listing your certifications and licenses with issuing body, dates and optional documents, and the reminders InkMap sends before a credential expires.
Your Credentials & Licenses card is where you list your certifications and licenses so clients can see your qualifications. It's public and optional — you don't need it to take bookings, but it helps build trust. The card is on the Info tab.
Adding a credential
Each entry on the card has:
- A title — the name of the certification or license. This is the only required field per entry.
- An issuing body — who awarded it.
- A date obtained and an expiration date, if it has one.
- An optional document you can upload as proof.
Add as many as you have. Saving the card takes it to 100%.
Expiry reminders
If you set an expiration date, InkMap reminds you before it lapses. You'll get a notification about a month ahead that a credential is expiring, and another if it has expired — because an expired credential is visible to clients, so it's worth updating or removing.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to add credentials to take bookings?
No. This card is optional — it doesn't gate bookings the way Services & Pricing, Availability, and Policies & Legal do. It's there to show clients your qualifications.
- What happens when a credential I listed expires?
InkMap sends you a reminder ahead of time and again once it's lapsed. Since clients can see the card, update the date or remove the entry when something expires.
