The Studio Overview tab

What the Overview tab on Studio Stats shows — total sessions, active team, completion rate, workstation use, today's snapshot, the next 7 days strip, and any open action items.

Applies toTattoo studios

Overview is the tab you land on first — a one-screen pulse check on the studio. It pulls together what's happening right now, what's coming this week, and how you're doing over the period you're viewing, so you can size up the studio at a glance before digging into the other tabs.

  • The headline numbers

Four figures sum up the studio for the period:

    • Total Sessions — everything your team worked, with a note of how many are finished. See what counts as complete.
    • Active Team — how many practitioners actually worked, split into residents and guests.
    • Completion Rate — across the whole team, the share of due sessions that got finished.
    • Workstation Use — how many of your workstations are busy right now, as a share and a plain "X of Y".

Active Team and Workstation Use are "right now" snapshots rather than period totals.

  • Today's Snapshot

What's happening at the studio today: how many sessions are on the calendar, who's working, and a heads-up if any two people are booked onto the same workstation at once.

  • Next 7 Days

The week ahead at a glance — confirmed sessions for each of the next seven days, with today highlighted, so empty or overloaded days jump out.

  • Sessions by Day of Week

Which days of the week your studio runs hot and which run cold, across the period. Good for deciding where to add hours or pull back.

  • Action Items

A card that only shows up when something needs you. It flags any of these that aren't clear:

    • Two people booked onto the same workstation at the same time, today.
    • Guest artist requests waiting on your approval.
    • Open deposit disputes involving you, a client, or a team member.

Each one links straight to the screen where you'd sort it out.

Frequently asked questions

A practitioner left the studio last month. Are they still in "Active Team"?

Only if they had at least one session in the selected period. The KPI counts who actually worked, not who's currently on the roster.

Workstation Use looks low even though my studio is busy. Why?

The KPI is "occupied right now", not "occupied this period". If you check it outside working hours, it'll naturally read low. Use Operations → Workstation Utilization for the period-wide view.

Why don't I see Action Items every time I open the tab?

The card only renders when there's at least one open action. No card means there's nothing demanding attention.
