Premium tools for practitioners
Every premium tool a practitioner can turn on — Booking System, Guest Spot Reach, Broadcast Inbox, Stats, and Accounting — what each one unlocks, what it costs, which ones are tattoo-only, and the two money-saving bundles.
As a practitioner you can turn on the business tools you want, one at a time or as a bundle. Each one has a monthly price, and you can also pay annually for a lower rate. Everything else about InkMap — your profile, the feeds, the map, messaging — stays free. For the free-trial and bundle basics, see How InkMap Premium works.
You buy and manage all of these on the web at inkmap.app — see Managing your subscription. This article is about what each tool actually does.
Two of the tools are only available to tattoo artists (Guest Spot Reach and Broadcast Inbox). If you're a piercer, PMU, laser, or body-modification practitioner, you'll only see the Booking System, Stats, and Accounting tools and the Essentials bundle.
Booking System — €14/month
The Booking System is the foundation. It unlocks:
- Receiving and managing booking requests from clients.
- Negotiating dates, prices, and deposits, and confirming sessions.
- Your calendar and agenda.
- Manual bookings for walk-ins and appointments arranged off-app.
- The completion flow and review prompts when a session is done.
- Your external booking link — a web page at inkmap.app/your-username where clients can request a booking without the app, which you can share on Instagram or a business card.
Without the Booking System, you can still be found on the map and in the feeds, but tapping Book Now on your profile shows clients a message instead of a booking form, and your booking link page shows your profile and a contact button rather than a form.
Guest Spot Reach — €12/month (tattoo artists only)
Guest Spot Reach gets the word out when you confirm a guest spot at a studio:
- People who include that area in their news radius get notified when you confirm a guest spot there.
- Clients can invite you to their city directly from your profile, and you see those invitations grouped by country and city to plan your travels.
- Anyone who follows your guest-spot updates is always alerted, wherever they are.
This is about reach — sending guest spot requests to studios is free for every tattoo artist and doesn't need this tool. See How guest spots work.
Broadcast Inbox — €7/month (tattoo artists only)
When a client posts a broadcast — a project they're looking for an artist to do — it's matched to artists with the right style in the area. Broadcast Inbox is what lets matching broadcasts reach you:
- Matching client broadcasts land in your inbox.
- You respond with your interest, and the client picks their artist from the responses.
Without it, you simply don't appear in the broadcast matching pool.
Stats Dashboard — €5/month
Stats turns your booking history into a dashboard: booking volume and completion rate, revenue trends, client demographics and repeat-client rate, and estimated-vs-actual session duration. The full breakdown lives in the Stats section of the help center.
Stats is built entirely on your booking data, so it needs the Booking System to be useful — you can't buy it on its own. The Essentials and Full Toolkit bundles both include Booking, so they cover this automatically, and a studio-provided booking license counts too.
Accounting Tools — €8/month
Accounting tracks the money side of your work: income and expenses, studio commission and arrangement tracking, settlement (who collected what), and tax-period summaries you can export. The Accounting section of the help center covers it in depth.
Like Stats, Accounting is built on your booking data and can't be bought on its own — it needs the Booking System active (your own subscription, a bundle that includes it, or a studio license).
The two bundles
If you want several tools, a bundle is cheaper than buying them separately:
- Essentials — €25/month: Booking System + Stats + Accounting. The tight-business set for a practitioner who books, tracks numbers, and does their accounting on InkMap.
- Full Toolkit — €35/month: all five tools (Booking, Guest Spot Reach, Broadcast Inbox, Stats, Accounting). The complete suite — about 24% less than buying everything à la carte. Because it includes the two tattoo-only tools, the Full Toolkit is only offered to tattoo artists.
Buying everything separately would come to €46/month, so the Full Toolkit saves the most; Essentials is the lighter option that's also a stepping stone to it.
Frequently asked questions
- I'm a piercer (or PMU / laser / body-mod). Why don't I see Guest Spot Reach, Broadcast Inbox, or the Full Toolkit?
Those two tools and the Full Toolkit bundle are tattoo-only at the moment — guest spots and client broadcasts are tattoo features in this version. You see the Booking System, Stats, and Accounting tools and the Essentials bundle.
- Why can't I buy Stats or Accounting without the Booking System?
Both are built entirely from your booking data — completed sessions, kept deposits, client lists, revenue. Without Booking they'd be empty, so the billing page keeps them locked until Booking is in your plan (or covered by a studio license). The Essentials bundle includes all three.
- Where do I actually turn these on?
On the web at inkmap.app. Open the Premium screen in the app and tap Manage on the web — you'll land on the billing page already signed in. See Managing your subscription.
